Acceptable Use Policy

Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Koder.ai platform, website, applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings set forth in the Terms of Use.

Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Service to engage in, encourage, or promote any activity that is unlawful, harmful, or otherwise inconsistent with this AUP, including:

Illegal Activities

Violating any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right
Creating, distributing, or facilitating malware, ransomware, or other harmful code

Security Violations

Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network without authorization
Bypassing, attempting to bypass, or interfering with authentication or security measures

Network and System Abuse

Overloading, flooding, spamming, or otherwise disrupting the Service or any connected networks
Running processes that materially degrade Service performance for others

Misuse of AI and Generated Content

Using AI outputs to create content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or obscene
Generating or attempting to generate content that violates privacy, intellectual property, or confidentiality obligations

Abusive Conduct and Deceptive Practices

Impersonating others or misrepresenting your affiliation
Sending unsolicited or bulk communications, including spam or phishing

Privacy and Data Protection Violations

Collecting or processing personal data without appropriate legal basis or consent
Attempting to deanonymize or re-identify de-identified data

Intellectual Property Infringement

Uploading or using content that infringes or misappropriates third-party intellectual property rights
Removing, obscuring, or altering proprietary notices

Circumvention and Benchmarking

Attempting to bypass usage limits, credits, or technical restrictions
Accessing the Service for competitive analysis, scraping, or benchmarking without our written consent

Security and Vulnerability Reporting

If you discover a potential security issue, please report it to us promptly at [email protected]. Do not publicly disclose the issue until we have had a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remediate it.

Enforcement and Consequences

We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP and may suspend or terminate access to the Service, remove content, and/or take legal action where appropriate. We may preserve and disclose information as required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Koder.ai, our users, or the public.

Repeat Offender Policy

Accounts engaging in repeated or egregious violations may be permanently terminated. We may also restrict new registrations associated with the offending user or organization.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. We will indicate the effective date above. Your continued use of the Service after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
